I can't believe I've missed this the first time round.. this is such an increbly beautiful photo, one of the best from you.. (how about a print?

) The vivid colours, the boats, the composition, everything is perfect.. And that's great detail with one of the boats sinking there.. Aand the clouds look really great too!

Sigit, I browsed across your site a few weeks ago, remembered it, and knew it was just a matter of time before I dropped by again to scrutinize more carefully. You have quite an extensive gallery, and I had so many exquisite pieces to choose from, but out of all the brilliant pieces, I think this one is my favorite. First of all, let me just say you have an excellent taste for vibrant colors. I'm in love with color richness, and that's why I was drooling over your entire gallery, and it's what initially drew me to this piece. The blue of the sky corresponds so well with the yellow. I don't think you could've asked for a better backdrop.

The next thing I really like about this photo is the composition. You've done a great job framing this piece. The sun sits perfectly; any higher or lower and it wouldn't have been as effective. Great timing. The small little boats absolutely make this piece. I love how they are scattered about, lonely, isolated, yet grouped together. Combined with the sunset it makes for a wondrous scene.

You know, I also spent some time looking at those clouds. At first, I thought it was sort of unlucky that they were there, but with closer inspection, they're very effective because they serve to divide up the picture, smoothing out the transitioning of tones.

Usually when I comment I leave constructive criticism (because most of the time, there's always something to improve), but for this piece, I can't find anything to nitpick even. Overall, it's a definite fav, and your gallery definite warrants an add to my watch list. I look forward to seeing your future works.

ps - I also noticed when browsing through your gallery distinct improvement from your earlier photos to your most recent ones. That's very encouraging to a relatively new person to this craft such as myself. Thanks for the inspiration!
